Agentic tools for valuation professionals — business and common stock valuations with frictionless data import, error-free financial modeling, and real-time sensitivity analysis.
Boutique valuation firms and valuation experts who perform business valuations for startups and private companies.
Currently ValueBee covers valuations of private companies (i.e., the equity value of a company), common stock valuations, preferred stock valuations, and discount studies.
ValueBee only provides a tool that expedites your modeling process and is not a substitute for professional appraisers. It is the users' discretion to determine whether the valuation analysis generated from ValueBee is sufficient for tax reporting and financial reporting purposes.
We have pre-built the standard valuation models including discounted cash flows (DCF), market multiples method (or Guideline Public Company Method), transaction multiples method (or Guideline Merged and Acquired Companies Method), Option Pricing Model (OPM), Protective Put models, and Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), where users can simply skip the modeling part without worrying about errors in spreadsheets. ValueBee then layered in Agentic AI (i.e., a chatbot similar to ChatGPT or Claude) on top of the platform. The AI agent can query and change the data and assumptions used in each valuation project based on users' instructions, but cannot change the pre-built valuation models. That way we ensure users get maximum efficiency with minimum errors and unpredictability.
Consistent with the industry standard, ValueBee sources market data primarily from S&P Capital IQ, Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), and economic data published by Damodaran (https://pages.stern.nyu.edu/~adamodar/). For certain market data, such as equity risk premium, size premium, and company specific risk premium, it is typically users' discretion to determine what to use and we do not provide any data points.
We do not currently offer model customizations. However, users can customize on their own by downloading the hard-coded Excel file of each model.
Yes. We offer a Report section on our platform where users can convert the analysis into clean PDF schedules. In each valuation section, users can also download a flat Excel file for that particular page. However, users cannot download a live Excel model.
Yes. Our product is designed for collaboration across different team members who each have a different role to play (i.e., preparer, reviewer, second reviewer, etc.). Users can invite other team members to join the same workspace. Each valuation project allows multiple users to work on it.
Currently ValueBee is in beta and has not yet passed SOC 2 compliance, an industry standard for security. During the beta period, users should be cautious about uploading confidential data. We are working towards SOC 2 compliance and expect to launch officially once certified. After that, users can freely upload confidential data.
Currently ValueBee is in beta and is free to all users.
